“Stay humble, and whenever it’s appropriate, no comment”, says Rocsi of BET’s 106 and Park. While she may have trouble following the latter part of that statement to a t, Rocsi has managed to stay remarkably real during her rise to success. Born in Honduras but raised in New Orleans, she currently co-hosts BET’s wildly successful afternoon show 106 & Park, where she’s interviewed the likes of Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and a Senator you may have heard of named Barack Obama.Yet she still finds time for boxing and salsa dancing in her free time, and helps the victims of Hurricane Katrina with her charity Rocstar. Following in the steps of other one-named celebrities such as Madonna, Eminem, and Cher, Rocsi has the moxie to pull it off.
