Can’t tell The Jonas Brothers apart? Neither could we until Chelsea set us straight with this handy guide:

Nick is the youngest. He is 17, and he’s definitely the brains behind the band. He’s the little brother, but he’s in charge of it all and he writes pretty much all of the music. He definitely has “it”, whatever “it” is, Nick’s got it. He plays drums and keyboard and guitar and writes and does all of it well. So he’s definitely the musical one in that family.

Joe is the middle brother. And he’s just the entertainer. He’s a goofball on and off set. He’s constantly pulling pranks and getting us into trouble and he’s great when he’s on stage. He really sells it.

Kevin is the oldest. He should be a salesman. He’s really easy to talk to, always dresses to the nines, and is definitely the manager of the band. He keeps everybody in check.

Favorite Holiday Television Special: On Christmas Day, I always watch “It’s A Wonderful Life” on TV with my Dad. We always get choked up and try to hide the fact that we’re crying. Usually my dad ends up leaving the room attempting to convince me he’s having an allergy attack.

Favorite Holiday Meal: Christmas morning cinnamon buns. As much as I hate to say it, I’m not a fan of the traditional holiday meal. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes…they’ve never really whipped my into a tizzy. Plus, their all beige, so they’re not even cute to look at. However, Mom’s fresh out of the oven cinnamon buns are the only thing that can pull me away from the presents. Plus, you can eat them really fast which leaves ample time for unwrapping.

Favorite Holiday Song: “Winter Wonderland.” My family is crazy and at some point during the holidays someone ends up performing in some capacity. There’s piano playing, story-telling, one year my cousin played Christmas carols on his saxophone for like, 5 hours, but the one I remember the most is my Uncle Peter’s rendition of Winter Wonderland; “Walking ‘Round In Women’s Underwear.” Classy and totally keeping with Staub tradition.

Favorite Holiday Tradition: In our house, the kids aren’t allowed to see the Christmas tree until all the adults are in the living room armed with cameras and coffee. I’ve somehow managed to stay in the kids group for 21 years now, it’s totally awesome. Anyway, to keep us occupied, we get to open out stockings in bed. My favorite tradition is sitting with my mom as I rip into the giant sock. My mom always smells amazing on Christmas morning. Total mom smell; fresh perfume and baked goods. It makes me happy just thinking about it.

Favorite Holiday Character: Santa. I love a man who comes bearing gifts.

Best Holiday Gift Tip: Don’t buy a microwave in California as a gift for someone in Arizona. It really takes the joy out of giving when you want to throw it out the window on numerous occasions, but you can’t…because it’s too heavy.

Favorite Way To Spend New Year’s Eve: All the family comes over and we end up putting on our own version of Johnny Carson’s “The Tonight Show.” My Uncle Bob is a radio DJ and he always hosts. My aunts come up with silly commercial jingles and my cousins are the musical acts. One year my Nana dressed up as a pig. I think her stage name was Sally Squat-bottom. Either way I end up embarrassed and really confused, but I love it.

Chelsea Staub: Dream Role

My favorite movie is Almost Famous and my favorite role of all time would be Penny Lane. I worship Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn. But I would have to say my dream role would be Pattie Boyd – George Harrison and Eric Clapton’s muse. I love her story, so I would love to play Pattie Boyd.

It’s actually funny because I was talking about it with the producers on set one day because I was reading her book, her book Wonderful Tonight, which is a great book. And the producers started talking to me, and actually a lot of my cast gifts were Pattie Boyd’s book and a Concert for George is like what everybody gave me. I’m really interested in it. I think it was a special time.

Chelsea Staub: Big-Time Blogger

I love writing. I love writing about nothing like a Seinfeld episode. So whenever something happens I’ll take to my blog because I really want kids to see a different side of me and different interests that I have. If you go on my blog on my Myspace or my website, it’s never about, “Oh, here’s what happened to me at work today. Or vote for me” or this or that. It’s usually about like something that happened like that I went to the Michael Jackson auction. This was before he passed away, and I wrote all about what I saw. Just weird stuff that I find interesting that I would love to tell people about in case they would ever want to do something like that.

I was able to go to Argentina and to Paris last year and I wrote extensive blogs about that just so kids have something else to go to and to read about as opposed to what restaurant I ate in last night or how close I am with these other Disney stars. There’s so much more out there and if I can share it with you, I hope you can take something away from it.

Chelsea Staub: More Than Disney

A lot of America, they don’t want to see people grow up. They love falling in love with little kids and it’s hard to watch them grow up and make mistakes. I’m a 21 year old actress and I originally moved to L.A. not to be on the Disney Channel. I wasn’t discovered at 13 tap dancing in a shopping mall. I moved out and started working professionally when I was 18 and was really just excited to work, whatever the job may be. And I happened to fall into a great role on a great show and my costars just happened to turn into like three of the most popular heartthrobs in Hollywood at the time.

I’m trying to stay out of the limelight as much as possible. I remind myself that I’m more of a young woman going into this as opposed to a teenager. I think I have a better eye on what to do and hopefully can make some better decisions if I was going through this at 16 I’m sure it would be a completely different story. I definitely try to keep that in mind and audition for other projects that can let me stretch my wings. At the end of the day, I’m just playing characters and I just want to go to work and play dress up for the rest of my life.

It’s nice to have the recognition and to know that people like you. It would be a much different story if they weren’t accepting it and it was a bust. I don’t need to be like Disney’s singing, dancing starlet. They have plenty that are really, really good at it, and for me, I just like to focus on the acting and the comedy.

Chelsea Staub: Child of the New Age

A lot of people I know from Arizona are kind of hippy. It’s because we have Sedona, which is a famous hippy town. There’s something about the latitude and longitude that’s really good for the spirit. I grew up in a very open, Bohemian household. My dad was an art student and then he ran away with the circus and was a trapeze artist for years. Then he decided to break into the film business and started directing commercials and became really well known for his work with animals. So any commercial you saw in the 80s with like Shamu or anything with the San Diego Zoo was all my dad’s work.

My mom was the same way. She was a flamenco dancer and traveled the world with that. So I grew up in a very artsy family. My grandmother lived in a cabin in the woods and every birthday it was never about blowing out your candles. My cards always have all my numerology in it and what birth year I’m going into and what to expect. I get horoscopes sent to my computer everyday from my grandmothers and my aunts. I’m just from one of those families.

Chelsea Staub: That’s Entertainment

I didn’t have a lot of time at school and even though I loved being there, I loved the theater. When I first started theater that’s when I really found my people. I used to take this summer camp every year called That’s Entertainment. The woman who does all the parades at Disneyland used to put it on in Whittier, California. She used to do the Super Bowl half-time show every year when they have the crowds of kids waving flags in unison. So we’d stay at the dorm rooms which was a huge experience to be away from your mom and to learn to fend for yourself. And we were given three or four weeks to put on a full production, which with 150 kids under the age of 16 – that’s a big to do. I loved to perform, but I never wanted to be a lead ever. I was totally happy being dancer number 15 and waving a rose in the background. And she just refused to let me do that. Her motto with the whole camp was that “everyone has their moment.” So she pretty much forced a role upon me and made me get on stage and try it out. It was my first time being alone in front of an audience and I think that was a defining moment because I lived through it and realized it was addicting, and that’s pretty much what my life has revolved around every since.

Chelsea Staub: Jonas

We met when I first auditioned for the show. They already had the show going for them, but they they hadn’t released an album, they hadn’t done the Miley Cyrus tour, they hadn’t done a tour of their own, they had never been on the cover of the Rolling Stone. We started the show two years ago and it was put on hold because of the writer’s strike. So in that two years that we were holding production, the Jonas Brothers just went from this little band to this phenomenon.

Literally within an hour of getting the part, all the Jonas Brothers fans knew and they hated me because they didn’t understand who I was or why they picked me. These paparazzi showed up at the mall where we were shopping and took a bunch of photos, and so the next day I was really like the most hated girl in America because I was like the mystery blonde on a Jonas Brothers’ arm and they could not figure it out. But now that the show’s started, people have actually really embraced Stella and been great to me.
