Today we introduce our third week of a new editorial feature on Girl2Watch called Rapid Fire. We will ask each Girl to finish the beginning of a sentence we provide. They will have only mere milliseconds to provide a response, so these answers will come straight from their unconscious, unencumbered by oppressive societal conventions and the insidious forces of excessive politeness. I love Steve Martin. I think he has a great perspective on life. I think he’s a genius. L.A. Story is one of my favorite movies. He has this wonderful way of looking at everything with a sense of humor. Even though things can get difficult, and things can be stressful and there ar bad times in life, he still has a way of looking at it with humor and think that’s very important in life. He... I was incredibly excited to get it. I always wanted to be an actress and this was the first time that I was like, “Oh, wow, I really can be. I can do this with my life.” It was also an amazing learning experience. Just being around cameras, being around other actors, and working and just doing it every day. They shoot an episode every day, so you have to memorize your lines. It was definitely... [Read more]
It’s very unique. I booked All My Children, a soap opera, and I wasn’t going to be able to go to school every single day. I had to work. This school was a last minute switch. He finds out because Zeus’ lightning bolt goes missing and the gods are about to start this huge war because they all think that Poseidon’s son took it. Percy goes to Camp Half Blood, where he meets me. It’s this camp where demigods sort of harness... [Read more]

“I’ve gotten to the point where I’ve gotten comfortable with my awkwardness,” says Alexandra Daddario, although there are no signs of uneasiness that we can detect. Raised in NYC, Alexandra went to a performing arts high school while she worked on All My Children, an experience that sounds too good to be true, but isn’t. Alexandra has landed her first major film role as Annabeth... [Read more]
