Stacey Oristano: Musical Freak
Oh my gosh, I grew up with them because my dad listened to them. We would always have Cabaret or Sweeney Todd or something playing in the house. He always had music on when we were cooking dinner, and so Broadway was Wednesday night or something. I fell in love with it and I made him take me to New York to see the shows. And then I started taking dance classes so I could be on Broadway.
It’s really embarrassing when people who don’t know me that well get in my car. If I’m driving people around somewhere and I have my Ipod on shuffle, it will just be really cool, chill music and then all of a sudden Les Mis will come on or something and people don’t understand.
Les Mis is my favorite of all time. When I’m in the car by myself I will sing at the top of my lungs. I could deal with listening to nothing else. I’m that much of a dork.
