Shira Lazar: Playboy Endorsed Twitterer
Yeah that happened. It was fu
nny because at the time I had the least set of everyone still Twitter followers and all that. My agent called me and she’s said, “Playboy was going to be featuring you as one of the women following Twitter. They were just giving you a heads up if it’s okay.” I’m like sure.
I don’t think I would go out of my way to be in Playboy to be honest, just not part of my brand. Not part of my brand, that sounds overly thought out! But I think women sometimes in the independent blogger category have a hard time taking things seriously.
I try not to take myself too seriously. At the same time I want to be able to create content that can be looked at as really contributing something legitimate and sometimes that gets lost if you’re constantly showing cleavage, but you’ve got to embrace what you’ve got now because we’re only young once.
Well, I would also say I would be embarrassed – I think it’s more my dad seeing me in that. I don’t think I could do it.
