Shira Lazar: On The Scene With Shira
My day-to-day is CBS News. I do video blogs for them. I have a section called ‘On the Scene’ where I talk about social trends and pop culture and it’s kind of like the nexus of what people are talking about online and how that’s moving offline.
That includes everything from pop culture to web culture and what’s online that’s shifting our conversation offline. It’s a lot to wrap your head around.
I think it’s a new movement; what people are linking and talking about online or what’s trending online, but humanizing that for the masses and really taking those subjects and being like, “Why is that going to influence our culture?” What trends are next to come? And bringing that to a bigger audience, not just the tech audience.
