Scottie Thompson: Like A Virgin
Like A Virgin by Madonna takes me back to high school parties because I used to go to parties and I didn’t really drink. I’d just go straight into the party, find the CD player, put in Like A Virgin and start a dance party.
I wasn’t really shy, I just wasn’t really a part of it all. Like I could exist in it, I just didn’t participate in it as much. I didn’t feel the need to talk so much. And so I would go and I had girlfriends, and friends with guys and stuff, and we’d just go and we just would want to dance. We wouldn’t want to party in the same way.
