 ON ROBERT DOWNEY JR: He’s hilarious. Every take he would do something completely different. You never knew what he was going to say. He’s a genius. He was telling me all these script ideas that he had. And he’s also an incredible musician. He can play the piano and sing. We heard him play all the time, really nice, totally down to earth, genius, genius guy. He’s very quirky, really cool. |
ON MOLLY RINGWALD: What should I say? She is awesome. I don’t really get to work with her that often because I don’t really have scenes with her, but she’s really cool. She has such interesting stories because she obviously has been like this international huge celebrity for so long, and she was a teen super-star, so it’s interesting to hear her stories and advice about what we should do. Also she lived in France for 10 years and traveled all over Europe, she’s extremely smart, has been to school and studied a million things, and she just really knows what she wants and she puts her family first. She’s not like an attention seeking person whatsoever. She’s very low key, down to earth and she’s all about her craft and doing the best job she can do. |
