This is the scariest thing that ever happened to me. It happened like two months ago. Me and my roommate were in the apartment.  She fell asleep with her window open and her screen fell out of her window. And the cops drove by and thought somebody had broken into our apartment because the window was open and the screen was off.  And like seven cops came through with their guns drawn. We were like in bed, “We’re just here sleeping. What’s going on?”  They were like, “Oh, we thought someone broke in. We knocked on your door and no one heard us.”  We’re like, “It’s two in the morning. We were sleeping.” That was pretty traumatizing to wake up to seven cops in your apartment with their guns out. Really traumatizing.

Neither one of us slept alone in our beds for two weeks after. It was like a slumber party every night because we were so scared. We just heard a noise outside and then all of a sudden the cops are through our windows with their guns drawn and are like, “Put your hands up!”  That was pretty scary.
