Katerina Graham: Come Together
I really really love John Lennon’s Come Together. I really like that song because the lyrics are “come together right now over me” and I just love the song so much and it takes me back toa time when I volunteered at a children’s hospital for a couple years in L.A. I would go from room to room and sit down next to the hospital bed and read to them. Some of them were blind, some of them were burn victims, cancer patients, and that really shaped who I am today. It’s probably like the one thing that completely altered my whole personality, my dynamic.
That was my favorite song at the time, and it’s always been to kind of always remind me to stay active in charity work. There’s this whole world that exists and there are countries that are poverty stricken and you can really help them in your position no matter how small you may think you are. You can reach them, you can make them happy, you can play them music, you can be on a great TV show, they can email you personally and be able to actually communicate with you. And I just think it’s important to be able to reach people and help them.
