Jenn Proske: Vampires Suck

Vampires Suck is basically a parody of Twilight and New Moon and of the entire vampire pop culture phenomenon going on right now. It follows the arch of my character Becca Crane, who’s this angsty, insecure teenage girl. And it revolves around this dangerous love triangle that she gets herself in with a vampire and a werewolf. And it’s kind of all the ups and downs of what happens when you fall in love with dangerous people.

The whole thing has been a whirlwind. I moved to LA in late October early November and I started auditioning full time. And then in February I had this week that was absolutely jammed packed full of auditions and the last one of the week was for Vampires Suck, but I was actually called in for the role of Iris, which is the Alice Cullen character and I really wasn’t quite ready for that, but I just did my best and gave it my all and I didn’t hear from them for two weeks, but then I was called in all of a sudden for the role of Becca which was the lead.  And I had to go in for about seven callbacks and then late Friday night I got a call stating I had booked it and that I was flying out on Tuesday to start shooting.

So it was literally four days. I booked my first job and I flew out and my whole world turned upside down and it’s been an amazing fantastic whirlwind every since.  I’m incredibly honored that this is how I start my career in Hollywood.  It’s a dream come true.

okay. first, if you didn’t find the other movies AND twilight to be good movies, don’t be a fag and go see it just to rag on it. second, the goal of the movie was achieved, to show that the plot of twilight really sucks, and the actors are human sized baries with no acting abilities. so as that movie was bad, this is copying it and being bad intentionally

i so agree with the credits about this movie i thinks it a shame that the people who created this stupid movie could not come up with there own idea they had to go and take shots at a great movie franchise and if i was stephanie myers and summit entertainment i would sue.
