Jenn Brown: MMA and Inside The NFL

On MMA: So mixed martial arts is where they beat the hell out of each other. It’s definitely a sport and it’s a huge discipline. For the first time ever two women are fighting, Gina Carano and Chris Cyborg, it’s been a huge rivalry, Gina Carano is undefeated, Chris Cyborg is just amazing. They’re going to be fighting as the main event with guys underneath them. It’s the first time in the history of that, it’s August 15th in San Jose. So I’ll be there, it’s a Showtime show. So you know, here’s a woman who’s a pioneer of something amazing, and she’s setting the level for this new sport. It’s pretty amazing and I got to talk to her about that, so that’s something else coming up.
On Showtime’s Inside The NFL: I went to London and did the Chargers/Saints game which was so much fun. And then I did all the behind the scenes of the Super Bowl. I got to hold the Lombardi trophy and see where they kept it before the game. And I was on the field for the confetti and I was actually in the locker room with the Steelers interviewing them after they won, which is very interesting to be a girl in the locker room. I’m just kidding. Everyone’s like, “Are they naked?” I’m like, “I didn’t really notice.” I didn’t look either, so…but yeah, I’m back again this season. They’re increasing my role to do more stuff and what I’m known to do for, that is more lifestyle behind the scenes type stuff. I’m not really the in-depth analyst. I’m not going to sit down with a player and talk about you know, the plays and why they chose to do this last week. I get to be around a great group of guys. Like honestly, Warren, JB, James Brown, Chris Collisworth, Phil Simms, they’re so at the top of their game in what they’re doing and I feel special that I get to be around them and work with them.
