Christine Woods: Top Three Dating Dealbreakers
I’ve had my share of dating disasters. Here are my top three dating dealbreakers:
1) I would say that a big, big yes is to always pay for dinner because yes I am a feminist, but we like to not have to worry about that stuff. We like to be taken care of. That’s my one fifties-girl mentality, just take care of it.
2) A big nono, especially in this business, I hate it when men talk about who they know and who they’ve seen. When you’re on a date, I don’t want to talk about all the cool people that you have in your cool people I know book. I want to talk about how you feel about stuff. And I know that’s hard for some men, but just avoid, “One time I saw so and so at such and such.” No name dropping – that’s a big deal breaker.
3) Guys, don’t wear eyeliner, it’s just not cute.

Alison Goodman is a Writer, Casting Director and pop culture junkie based in New York. She has worked for the CW, ABC Family and the WB. A self-proclaimed TV fanatic, there isn’t a Bravo marathon she hasn’t vegged out to, she still mourns the loss of “Friday Night Lights,” and can’t go to sleep on Thursday night if she hasn’t watched “The Vampire Diaries.”

Another example of an asinine starlet pushing back women’s rights yet another generation. Your #1 ‘dealbreaker’ being to replicate the patriarchal version of the 50s women only reminds men of why they should be paid more for doing the same job and allows for that logic at the highest levels of management (which trust me, is how they think). Good job sister, you’re an idiot.
