Bridgit Mendler: Good Luck Charlie
Good Luck Charlie – it’s kind of a new show for Disney Channel. It’s definitely a family show and it’s centered around just a family, and that’s really what the show is about is a family and the family dynamics that go on. There’s a new baby that the parents have, and so the three older siblings have to help out with the baby since the parents are going back to work. There’s all sorts of fun story lines that develop off of that.
My character Teddy records a video diary for Charlie, the baby sister, because they have a big age difference between them and when Teddy goes off to college or wherever, she wants Charlie to have something that can be useful to her; like a big sister’s advice that she can just revisit. That’s kind of Teddy’s job within the show.
It’s nice because she’s really a normal teenager. She cares about her friends, and her family, and school and she has to juggle all those responsibilities. She’s a little bit of a perfectionist I’d say. I think I’m a little bit more laid back than she is in that regard.
But we do have one thing in common that’s been fun to explore with Teddy this season and that is her bad dancing. That’s been pretty fun.
