Alexandra Daddario: PCS
It’s very unique. I booked All My Children, a soap opera, and I wasn’t going to be able to go to school every single day. I had to work. This school was a last minute switch. It’s more like college in that you can take classes when you need to, and you can miss school, and go on this program called guided study and be able to work.
The other kids at this school are doing similar things. There are people in the School of American Ballet, and a lot of very talented, amazing musicians and some athletes. Mischa Barton went there when I was there. I know Christina Ricci went there, and Macaulay Culkin and Sarah Jessica Parker -people who worked when they were kids. It’s perfect for that.
Fame was actually based on LaGuardia, which is sort of down the street. PCS is a little different than Fame, but slightly similar.

Alison Goodman is a Writer, Casting Director and pop culture junkie based in New York. She has worked for the CW, ABC Family and the WB. A self-proclaimed TV fanatic, there isn’t a Bravo marathon she hasn’t vegged out to, she still mourns the loss of “Friday Night Lights,” and can’t go to sleep on Thursday night if she hasn’t watched “The Vampire Diaries.”
