I was incredibly excited to get it. I always wanted to be an actress and this was the first time that I was like, “Oh, wow, I really can be. I can do this with my life.”

It was also an amazing learning experience.  Just being around cameras, being around other actors, and working and just doing it every day. They shoot an episode every day, so you have to memorize your lines. It was definitely a learning process. I think that it was great training, and it was exciting to finally realize that I wanted to be an actress and I could be one if I worked hard enough.
